I can't believe Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is reviewed as highly as it is. It's such a
pathetic anime and NOTHING about it is remotely interesting, yet it always
scores in the higher brackets. Seriously, people rant about how that show plays
with your emotions, when in reality, it doesn't. The characters in KGNE were so
stale and so flat that it made it impossible for me to feel anything for them.
Quote by ShujaaWell it might not be
pornographic, but personally there are some pictures on here that I would
definitely not want young children to see. And that kind of image is what
creates the problem.
Why the hell would your young children be on this site to begin with? If they do
find something that isn't PG, it's not MTs fault for hosting it. It's your fault
as a parent who didn't keep a close eye on their children on the INTERNET, the
MOST dangerous place for children.
Seriously, the images here were, at worst, PG13. And that's what I see the
general MT audience as, teens, or somewhere in their twenties. There's more
explicit stuff on regular TV.
Young children are, like it or not, attracted to cartoon-ish and colourful
imagery. Whether or not the children SHOULD be on the site is nothing to do with
it, my point is that I personally think some Ecchi should not be viewed by them,
and hence I can understand why an advertiser might have come to the view that it
would give them a bad image. Obviously that doesn't mean I necessarily agree
with their view.
No, children being here has everything to do with it. That's like saying the
video game industry is responsible for all the youth violence today, instead of
poor parenting. And you know that just isn't true (unless you're actually naive
enough to believe that crap). Same principle here. If you don't want your
children looking at ecchi images, then there's quite a simple solution : Keep
them away from it. It's actually far more reasonable than censorship. And this
doesn't apply to MT/Googles policy as well. It's just advise to otherwise crappy
parenting.

Really, I think the griping here is quite useless. I think this new system is
seriously one of the worst ideas MT has implemented -- Not saying much, since
ALL of their "upgrades" felt more like downgrades to me (and I know
I'm not alone here). We all know it isn't going to go back.
And this "perceived value of credit" reasoning is so inane.
Apparently, it's a crime now to feel good that you've contributed to MT. That's
not even mentioning the mentality was hardly ever a case. If we're to use
credits to buy things, why can't we see what we have? Well, whatever. Just
another notch in MTs succombing to something worse.
With all due respect, it seems each version of MT is worse than the one before.
MT1 was great. Fast, easy to navigate. MT2 was not as good, but still had its
ups. MT3 (now) is nowhere near as good as the first 2. I see absolutely no perks
to this system at all. Here's a tip for the people who work on the board :
Instead of trying to make something new, try to work on what's there. Making a
new system is just too cumbersome for the members,
Why does MT always change the moment members get used to what's there already?
No offense to the adminm as they're doing a great job on maintaining such a
large site, but if it isn't broken, why fix it?
Shuffle was a weak anime, full of weak characters, lackluster character
development (even for a harem), a boring main protagonist, and the biggest
letdown of an ending.
I also notice some problems. ACtually, a lot... the images just won't load. Huh.
Sometimes it'd load, but be blurry. Other times, only halfway. Other times it
wouldn't load, period. And sometimes, "no data" or something would pop
up.
Yeah, I wasn't able to d/l anything for the past 24 hours. Sometimes the image
would load, but still be blurry. Sometimes only half (but most of the time,
less) then stop. Sometimes the image wouldn't load at all. And other times, I
get a notification "Bad signal" or something. I thought it would get
fixed, but not yet. There are some juicy pics I really want, so I hope this gets
fixed soon. Thanks in advance.
I think most of the people here don't like the new layout and "credit"
system. Then again, most people didn't like MT2 back when it was first
introduced... I guess when MT4 comes out (which will somehow be worse than MT3
now), people will want this layout instead...
I'm a little late on this (like 20 weeks actually), and I have mixed feelings
about this.
On one hand, I think asking for more quality is a good thing. I don't really
like wallpapers with only a gradient effect and then a character plastered on
there submitted. That took no effort. All you did was drag your mouse across the
screen, got an effect you thought "looked cool" then copied and pasted
a character. On the flipside, I can clearly see effort made by wallers like
Sammo (one of my favorite wallers here), so there's obviously a big difference
in overall quality.
OTOH, I do think just deleting a wallpaper because it isn't -that- great is
pretty extreme. Beginners who work hard creating effects on their own and spend
hours doing so having it erased is cold. Especially if all you get is "Bad
quality" That's not even including the fact that every waller will have a
different idea of what quality is. There's so much on the line that isn't going
to be justified by BotChiis "Bad quality" reason.
Finally, I think complaining is only natural here. For all of the people who
disagree, I think you are being pretty gruff about it. I mean, if you really
worked hard on something and then have somebody spit in your face by saying it
wasn't quality enough, can you really say you weren't pissed off? I can
understand wanting to improve in the long run because of the stern rules, but
that doesn't mean they're not going to be angry. It's really only a reaction
that we'll get upset. I seriously doubt wallers think "Oh well, my
hardworked on wall got deleted. I'll just chalk if up to experience and walk
away, not having even discussed it." People who had their confidence shot
will want to complain. Please don't just give them the cold shoulder by telling
them not to complain.
Anyways, that's my two cents. I agree and disagree.
When you talk about making an "unsorted" ecchi section, do you mean we
can post slightly more explicit stuff. or just tossing panty/boob (but no
nipples) into one big heap?
I submitted this image
Girl by Ichigo91
and it was deleted for "insufficient quality"
yet, it seems to be anice and large image. And that poster submitted it, and it's still there. What happened?

Used to be very popular until it was taken off bc of that new policy. Enjoy it here.

People who actually believe that outrageous price should stop gaming on general principle. THINK ABOUT IT.

Animepaper. I've been on there more than I have been here, and for as long as I can remember, they're just better.
Much better layout (MT's just plain sucks now)
Easier to navigate
Bigger thumbnails
Better message board with MP3 posting/requesting
I'm looking for a good, cheap and reliable web hosting service.
It needs to be
Able to direct-link to other sites for sigs, bgs, bgms and whatnot
Good, reliable spacy E-mail service (preferably 1+ gb)
Fast!
Easy to use control panel and overall simple interface and management
Constantly up (never any down time, or little bit)
Good message board service/chatroom
Excellent customer service
No pop ups and ads
I'm currently looking at 1&1, Lunarpages and Bluehost. Anybody got any suggestions or at least some feedback?

I'm a RM fan. Got all the tankouban and have been watching Traumend every THursday

What is so great about CS2? I only have CS.
Where can I find high quality background images? Stuff like landscapes, 3D effects, and whatnot?

Nanaya is a higher tier than Tohno, so Nanaya, obviously.
Tomoe, easy. She had a much bigger impact in his life. And her mature visage matches Kenshins soft nature.
Kaoru, otoh, I can't stand.
Hi. I recently went to Akon and purchased a few artbooks, and am hoping to scan some of the pages (that are allowed, anyways) to share with MT.
Could somebody give me some tips on a scanner that'll get the job done well? Not too expensive or anything thouugh, please.
Thank you in advance.
Kinda hard for me to comb through 17 pages or so of my gallery to do it, but it is a fair thing.
Nuriko, where can I find Carnelian artbooks/CDs for purchase?
